This Heron lives in North London in Finsbury Park. She adopted a human dad one day. The Heron would fly to his adopted human dad everytime she spots him. Then one day his human dad brought her some fish treats and their bond was forever sealed.
I asked if Heron has a name but he said no, however, there is aother one around the pond named Henry.
Sometimes we become birders because the birds adopt us. Maybe they know that we need them more than they need us.
Birds have great facial recognition, and they are smarter than we think they are.

I’ve always loved your way to find a name for your animal friends. Very clever. All well I hope?

I think this is Henry’s relative. The guy didn’t know his name and didn’t name him. I met Hunter and George the Heron. There are quite a few of them around.
