Oh. You got hit by a storm there? It must have been shaky. I remember in South Africa during the Equinox, the sea was very high, licking the steps to the terrace, it rained very hard, and you couldn’t tell where the rain stopped and the waves crashed on the terrace. But of course, at 7 or 8 it is fascinating. (and we were on land).

I guess they are meant to emulate those sea homes on stilts. It was quite scary when the storm arrived 🌊😱

Love this Tiff. It reminds me of the homes in the Straits of Malacca, where fishing families lived. I remember going by boat to one of them as a young boy and eating the freshest seafood. :). thanks for the memory
