Drawing of greater Celandine. 🌿💛🌿
My dad used to tell me that you can only do your best and never compare yourself to others. This is a valuable piece of wisdom that I always cherish. My dad was always positive and insightful, dedicating his life to serving the community so that we could grow up in a better place.
As we hurtle towards “me” culture, it’s a good reminder that no person is an island and we do need to care for our community.
Today I am thankful for my art community, my friends and family, and everyone here who have been supporting me, giving me good advice and encouragement.
Happy weekend my friends and thank you for being part of this journey 🤗

You have graced us with your art journey. A win-win proposition. (Let’s not forget a dragon when you get back. I’m not sure your “store” is up-to-date. Or is it?) 💕🌹

Thank you for your kind words and wisdom as always Brian. I always appreciate it! You are one of the few people who have followed my art journey from the beginning and for that I am thankful 🥰

Your Dad was totally right. (I’m sure I would have enjoyed long talks with him).
“Do your best and never compare yourself to others.” Perfect. And so opposite to the exploding Me-Me-And-Only-Me culture… Makes me wonder where we’re going…
Keep doing your best (Your Art amongst other things) and share your lovely flowers, and many other things.
And above all try to be happy. 💕🤗

I don’t think I’ve seen a Greater Celandine before.
But it looks great.
