I have a stash of photos I took from my central asia trip and this was one of the treasures I found in a museum in Samarkand. I am obsessed with blue and white ceramics and how they have travelled far and wide.

A very beautiful pattern.
They remind me of the blue willow pattern found on china and dishes in Edmonton at a Chinese restaurant called The Blue Willow where I used to eat once a week when I lived in the City of Edmonton Alberta Canada.
