Solo exhibition by Tiffany Choong

I’m excited to announce that I am finally having a solo exhibition after 5 years of hiding between group exhibitions. A solo exhibition is quite daunting for me but it is a huge honour to be invited to present one at my favourite independent bookstore in the heart of my hometown of George town, Penang where this wonderful bookstore and events space is located.

I love books and I’m so blessed to be showing my art in a space surrounded with things I love. My home is where the story begins and my art is the tool I use to process the emotions and thoughts I experience.
“I am Not an Oriental Vase: Journeys of Diaspora and Discovery” explores themes of culture, identity and a sense of belonging.
I’m not one to dwell in darkness, every moment is a conscious choice to wear my rose tinted glasses. My art is a celebration of this decision and I hope when you see my works, it too will bring you joy and peace 🙏
