Sketch of a Chinese porcelain rice bowl. The kitchen is the Heart of the Home.
I’m back home and I’m rediscovering my love of Chinese porcelain and colours! I’ve been so busy with stuff, life, I’m not sure what, but time keeps on slipping by so quickly. The last time I was posting seems like weeks ago!!! I’m finally catching up with all my late postings of my drawings. 🩷

Christopher Doyle. That’s right. I read his bio. Quite an adventurer indeed. He must be quite interesting to meet. (Hopefully he’s not too full of himself, which may happen in that “industry”.)

It’s a blessing to be able to remember!!! The Australian’s name is Christopher Doyle. I would forget too if I didn’t meet him in person. Very colourful character!

Chaokar. Yes, I do remember that. I am blessed or curse with almost total recall. Not quite like Doctor Reed in Criminal minds, but close. That link you’d sent me taught me a lot. I was also impressed by the Australian guy (whose name I did forget, LOL) command of Mandarin… I want to be like him when I grow up… 😉

omg how did you remember that!!!!! and since that day I know that kitchen is Chaokar. It is exactly from that conversation with Sue that I remember. She is indeed well!

Quite right. How do you say “kitchen” in Hokkien. I remember your friend Sue’s interview about that movie, that she didn’t know the exact word for ·kitchen”, just, “the room at the back”, or something like that. 😉
(I hope she is well)
