The style and tone of blue used on the ginger jar reminds me of a style used in a collection of fine china from China called the Blue Willow Collection.
There was one Chinese restaurant in Edmonton Alberta Canada called The Blue Willow that had all its dishes, cups, teapots 🫖 and sugar holders in that style and tone and colour of blue.
