It’s day 32/45 Covid-19 lockdown in Malaysia. I have been out twice this month, the old world outside is becoming a memory as I imagine tomorrow, looking forward to a new improved future forward.
This week’s pet portraits have been mentally challenging. I took on commission drawings of people’s most loved family members. Tackling the portraits was an opportunity for me to grow as a person and as an artist. A good friend said to me that this week has allowed me and my art to be less selfish. I think she is right.
Sketch of the day no 1342 in my moleskine sketchbook is in memory of Pepper the Golden Retriever. 🐶
Stay home, stay safe and thank you for the support and love ❤️

Oops, better go get supplies and be safe until June. Our covid numbers are relatively low here in Malaysia but that’s because we locked down early. I think we will be let out a little bit soon, like hopefully to exercise outdoors. Stay safe. Big hugs to the family ❤️❤️🤗🤗❤️❤️
