It’s day 32/45 Covid-19 lockdown in Malaysia. I have been out twice this month, the old world outside is becoming a memory as I imagine tomorrow, looking forward to a new improved future forward.
This week’s pet portraits have been mentally challenging. I took on commission drawings of people’s most loved family members. Tackling the portraits was an opportunity for me to grow as a person and as an artist. A good friend said to me that this week has allowed me and my art to be less selfish. I think she is right.
Sketch of the day no 1342 in my moleskine sketchbook is in memory of Pepper the Golden Retriever. 🐶
Stay home, stay safe and thank you for the support and love ❤️

Awww thanx so much Bela. I do love dogs, normally I draw the dogs that I’ve met like Sheba but since it’s lockdown, Im making some exceptions and it’s good for me to step out of my comfort zone and grow. Hope all is well. Big hugs to you both ❤️❤️🤗🤗❤️❤️

Thank you. It’s so challenging to draw pets I’ve never met in order to capture their essence but i am happy the owners approved 🐶⭐🐶

Out twice? We’re about on the same rhythm… Might go out tomorrow, but people are not taking this seriously. Too many people on the street. Most businesses are open… Tsss.
We’ve been locked up about the same. a month and change. Saw a movie yesterday with people in a plane. 🤣Did that really exist?
(Now they say lockdown will be extended until June 1st in Mexico… 😩😩😩
Stay safe Tiffany.
