What’s your covid strategy?
Day 8/30 of covid lockdown. So our lockdown has been extended from 14 days to 30 days. I’m feeling a bit more anxious now as the number of infected cases are rising exponentially and to know that i go to the same supermarkets as them is worrying. I’m definitely going to start rationing food so i dont have to go out till this is over.
Sketch of the day no 1318 in my moleskine sketchbook is of a bottle patron coffee liqueur.

Omg that is horrible. But it is a decision people will have to make even at hospitals like in Italy. Not enough beds so old people have to sacrifice and die

Ever see the movie, “Outbreak” with Dustin Hoffman and Cuba Gooding, Jr where the government’s best option is to bomb a town of infected people to stop the pandemic spread of the motaba virus?
Welcome to the U.S. where fiction comes to life!
No bombs, but we’ve jumped the shark as some [clueless] elected officials are spouting the nonsense that seniors/grandparents should sacrifice their lives for their family’s future. What this means is “we’re losing money and need to get back to business as usual, so if you get sick, just die and stop whining.” Some think seniors should RETURN to the workforce and do the “public” jobs until a vaccine is found, thereby allowing younger people to stay home, self-quarantined. Others believe seniors should cease seeking medical attention and draining an already overloaded (and hugely inadequate) healthcare system. (The economy must be saved! /snark)
We are so screwed.
But, it’s 8 am and I’m having a screwdriver with breakfast because orange juice is good for you! 😀 😀
Stay safe, my friend!

Thanx for sharing this advice. I agree with you, i do practice meditation, if not I think my fear and stress levels would go through the roof but it does not mean i dont feel fearful or anxious about the situation. The positive is social connections have been strengthened and gratitude. Take care and stay safe Bela 🙏
