It’s still 12 months but some years there is a double lunar month so 13 months.

How many months are there in a year then? The lunar month is shorter.

Yes the Chinese follow the lunar calendar.

Goay. OK. I wonder how it is pronounced. The Chines concept of tones still defeats me. 🙂 It makes sense that it mean both moon and month. The Chinese calendar is Lunar right?
