As the last day of 2018 draws to a close, I take time to reflect on what I have achieved this year.
I have been guilty of forgetting successes and focusing on failures so when people ask me I would tell them my year was OK when in reality there is no shame in failure if you can overcome it or learn from it.
This year has been incredible, amazing, not just OK. It has been a turning point in my outlook in life. It’s not that this year is better than last year but the difference is that I have learnt to appreciate myself and finally acknowledged how much I have achieved and grown.
My art journey dragged me out of the doldrums and I have learnt a lot about myself and what I can achieve since I started my sketchbook in 2013.
I sincerely wish everyone one of you a happy new year and may the new year bring us love, peace and joy ❤️

Which is good, as external factors cannot be controlled, but mindset can. I need to remember that. You are a wise one kawanku. 🙂
Have a great week-end.

Yes indeed, my first solo was amazing experience and growth for me. This year has been great so far. Its my mindset that is making the changes, not so much the external factors.

Yes I think this has been a good year for you. Let us not forget, first and foremost, your first solo exhibition. Let’s hope for many more. Bonne année. (Again?) 😉 C’est pas grave, on peut répéter les bonnes choses)
