I understand. And feel for you. There are bad news and good news. 🙂
The bad news is that it is never over indeed. I will have big holes gaping inside me for the rest of my life. The last “hole” is still bleeding.
The good news is… (I may have told you before?) that there comes a time when we finally can remember the dearly departed, with a smile and no sadness. The hole is still there, but scarring has begun. (And yet, sometimes, I wish my mother could have known my grandson. I’m sure they would have hit it off!)
And meantime… you are doing the right thing. One day at a time. 🙂
(And if you have feel the blues… don’t hesitate, we have two other channels to communicate by. I’m not a bad listener. Ask Felicity). 😉

No it’s never over. Since my parents passed. It’s been difficult. It’s just how i deal with things. I stay positive and take each day as it comes. 🤗
