It´s 5.30 am here in Spain, and rght now I really don´´t want to talk about it, but you can sing me a song like little kids song so I can go to sleep, almost 5 years and two depoyments.
My head is fallng to one side but I can´t fucking sleep

To tell the truth it is a voluntary army and what do expect if you go into it in a combat role? We are a bit nutty, you want to experience that adrenaline, and test yourself with your friends after so many months and even years of training repeating the same drills, so we did want to go to war. That’s why I call them my “lovely bastards”, no saints in my type of unit, we are loud, obnoxious, adrenaline junkies most of us if not all, kids in a lot of cases, we curse a lot, fight a lot, hard at work and hard at party and contrary to what civilians say we don’t all like each other, quite the contrary. But you have that bond of being in the worst situation few people have experienced and getting out there alove because of our trainning, and that creates a strange bond that you can’t have in a civilian type of environment, and with some guys it truly is love that you have for them and will die for them.
