Blood thirsty predator.
Sketch of the day in my moleskine art journal is of a Horse fly or cleg. This insect lurk in the forests and bite predators as they pass by. Not a pleasant experience as they have pretty sharp long fangs that leave your skin swollen and super itchy for days.

I am so glad. I think I may have been bit once as a child, or maybe it was my sister… Hurts. Phew indeed.
