It is. We were staying at our Irish friend’s house in “Doblin”, Easter, like you. She had her central heating connected to the chimney where she only put “tourbe” (turf?) a sort of coal substitute the Irish gather from swamps. Low heating factor. And she’d turn it off at night. “Too hot”. (15C or below!) 🙂

Do the Irish still turn off central heating at night, because it gets too hot? And normal beings freeze to death in bed?
