Sketch of the day in my moleskine art journal is of the Asian tiger mosquito. (Aedes Albopictus) Recognize what it looks like and make sure you kill it! It can spread Dengue and Zika.

Vitamin B has to be taken for 20 days prior to the “trip” to the mosquito region and then taken all the time. It produces a skin odor repellent to mosquitoes. But I don’t think you can take it for 6 months. Probably bad for the liver. And you’re right: dengue is quite tough. Living in London is a good prevention. 😉

Oh I didnt know Vit B helps. I always get bit my mosquitos. Permanently using mossie spray is bad too. Have to balance them out. I think there are cases in Malaysia. I’m more worries about Dengue than Zika to be honest.

Yes this is definitely the enemy. Zika is already in various places in LAtin America.
Do you have in Georgetown? Be careful kawan saya.
(And/or take vitamin B. Which is very good against mosquitoes, but I don’t know whether you can take vitamin B permanently. Probably not?)

We have these nasty little guys here in Australia too – mainly North Queensland. Fortunately we don’t have Zika here, yet 😦 We have citronella candles to burn when we sit outside in the evenings. Nice sketch though 🙂
