I will Kawan saya. I have had a bit of “training” living in dangerous countries. Basically involves, keeping a sharp eye on the street. But then if it happens it happens. Then comes damage control. Have a safe week in London. ❤

There are 15,000 homicides a year here. 😦 Yet in daylight, in a fancy neighbourhood, it is not that common. I was just very concerned that the attacked biker was resisting, and I was very close, Soooo I just very slowly backed away, looking for a possible shelter. Don’t know why, I tend to be very cold-blooded in those situations. I once had a knife put on my throat… 🙂 You can only talk your way out of that. 😉 Anyway, what worries me is that this is the place my daughters live, and later their children… Makes me very angry. And I like your expression: “just roll your eyes”. I guess it’s all one can do. Prends bien soin de toi. Until the next Bulan mail.

Omg what an awful event to have to witness! I would be petrified. Is this common that you only roll your eyes?

All is well. I just witnessed an assault at gunpoint, walking in the street towards my favourite café. 10 minutes away from home. And five yards away from me. Very nasty, but fortunately, no-one got hurt. Crossed-eye emoticon. Pffff. 🙂
