I hunt in blooms and i prey on seafood.
Sketch of the day in my moleskine art journal is of a beautiful striped compass jellyfish I spotted on Woolacombe beach in Devon, England. There were many jellyfish washed ashore but this was the only patterend one I spotted. I stepped on a few but only the tentacles sting.

I’ve swum with them a few times though – and never got stung. Just gently drawing my hand in front of me and the sea parted, so to speak, and they swam on by. Even with my little girls along for the snorkel! As with so many stinging creatures, I don’t think they live to harm. They are just trying to live like all of us. xo

yes me too! They are beautiful creatures. Shame they sting. They are so easy to draw!

I lovelovelove jellyfish. Though I’d imagine it’s pretty challenging to draw one! Good job 😉
