Yes it is. I still think there should be public policies to alleviate their condition. A middle ground solution between abandoning them on the street or, 19th century style, reclusion. I don’t know, a big park with small cabins, where they could roam at will, and get shelter form the cold, without feeling locked up? But then I’m probably a romantic… Dommage. 🙂
PS. Take good care of yourself my dear. The UK is not immune to the madness we just saw in France. Also, I understand that there have been unpleasant “incidents” from some brits towards foreigners. One has to move on and ignore the jerks, but just watch your back. Bz.

I’m sure they have schemes for the homeless. A friend of mine used to work in NYC on homeless issues.
