Somewhere over the rainbow. ..
Sketch of the day in my moleskine art journal are rainbow coloured freedom cookies my friend found in a petrol station recently. It’s locally made and I’m pretty sure they don’t know what the cookies represent.
I chose to draw this because I recently found out that in Indonesia this cookie would be banned. It’s a step backwards for humanity.

It is sad and awful to think that in this age, with all its improvements, and all these new aids to better communication, these things are seemingly getting more prevalent. It is a great inditement of our societies. Best wishes and blessings, Charles.

It is sad and cruel, that these days with all the forms of communication we have, and all apparent betterment of our democratic world, that this sort of thing is still carrying on, and in fact getting more prevalent and not less so. This gay bashing is rife in Africa too, anything to do with gay life is band in Uganda for instance, and many gays are imprisoned.
