True love comes in many forms.
Sketch of the day in my moleskine art journal is of Abby the grand old labrador.
Many of my friends request that I draw their pets. I love animals but as a rule I only draw things I love and pets that I get to know. So Abby took a while because I had to get to know her.

Okay. That puts Labradors in the category “work-in-progress”. And I thought you were being modest, but maybe you’re also… a perfectionist? Always trying to do things better? I wouldn’t be surprised.

Labradors are loveable but not so easy to draw. I’ve drawn 2 before Abby.
