Fly away with me. Dragonfly painting on canvas. Size 600mm ×600mm.
I’ve started painting again and I may not have time to sketch so much. I’m starting to convert my sketches into larger paintings. This one is based on sketch 815. Hope you will like them. ♥️

Thank you. I drew it with a gold pen straight on the canvas like a giant sketch 😆

Thank you. I thought I try something different. The photo is bad. It’s actually gold on black 💫

The B&W (or is it beige and black?) also allows to paint the oh-so delicate wings. (Not everyone can do that) The result is outstanding. Keep painting. 🙂

Absolutely love your Libellule. The balance, the framing. Also interesting is the use of B&W only, when you tend to use vivid colours. Makes for a very nice contrast. I like B&W. Like Hugo Pratt whom I think I mentioned to you. It takes great skill to handle large “à-plat” in black. Well done my dear.
