I spent the last 3 weeks backpacking around South Island, New Zealand. It is such a beautiful country with fresh clean air and miles and miles of National parks. The scenery changes at every corner from rolling green hills to harsh and wild rocky mountains. At night the skies are clear and filled with stars. The blue skies and blue lakes and sea makes it so easy to wake up to every morning. One thing I did not realise is that there are hardly any animals in New Zealand. There are no dangerous predators insects or reptiles that will eat you except maybe the great white shark if you go too far off into the ocean.
It’s been an awesome start to my New Year. I really enjoyed my break. I am back now…:)

It’s probably better mid feb onwards when it’s less crowded as well. It’s NZ summer holidays and new year combined when I was there. Really hard to get rooms when there’s so many travellers.

You are right. It’s my turn now. Thank you for tempting me. 🙂

It’s not somewhere I will visit anytime again in the near future so I had to make the most of my time there x

I think that’s it from my trip. It’s now for you to discover NZ! It was truly amazing. Beautiful country, friendly people but most importantly I walked away with a lot of good memories and grew as a person 🙂

Thank you. I think I made the best of this holiday. Could have been less good if I didn’t allow myself to be open to new experiences x
