Two thoughts:
a) I always find the english word “corsage” very funny. So distant from the original sense. (A nice corsage BTB.
b) Money? Money is the the last resource measure. When people have no clue about the value of a sunset, a walk on the beach or a baby’s first toothless smile, they resort to money as a measurement “ruler”.
c) (I know I said 2 thoughts, so?) As for success, what is success? Being and growing into who you want to be? Wouldn’t that be success?
