It does. And they have made an artistic choice I disapprove of. There are three different art styles throughout. Confusing. But, still, worth a try. It will not destroy your childhood memories. The mawar bunga is there. 🙂

I never watched the animation. I agree it would be a difficult book to screen because it would fight with our childhood imagination
