Malay has some Spanish words and a lot of English. Which makes my spelling horrible. Eg. Tayar = tyre. Sabun = soap

Next is my favourite. Take a word and square it. Eg. Mata = eye. Mata Mata = police.

Iยดm beginning to figure as much. Gender neutral is interesting, not all languages are. No irregular verbs are a blessing. Think French, Spanish, even English. I would suspect some influence form Pidgin into Malay? Or was it the other way round?
