Forget the reading. It will not happen. Speaking is more realistic 😆

My father was like that. He was a “gaucher contrarié”. A leftie who was scolded and punished so as to write with his right hand. born in 1918. Such were things then. As a result he ended up ambidextrous like you. Nice to be able to use two hands instead of just one. 🙂

Thank you for the encouragement. I have my doubts. What I have heard in Chinese puts my ears on test. It is a tone language. A string of vowels that sound all the same to me actually are subtlely accented to ean very different things. (Wide eyed emoticon). A Balinese niece of mine who was studying Mandarin told me an example once: two apparently identical phrases (with different tones) that meant sthg totally different. add to that the need to learn like 3,500 characters to be able to read the paper… Maybe I can some day. 🙂

Hokkien is quite easy to learn. Maybe you can one day!

I’m slightly ambidextrous. I use right hand scissors and use both hands equally 😄
