Educate yourself and choose the safest option.
#SKSV
Today is world animal day. Not only wild animals are endangered. Our own island strays are endangered. This post is to raise some awareness.
A few cases of rabies were found in Penang and an issue was sent out to cull ALL stray dogs. According to expert advice, this is not the correct way to deal with the spread of the disease. Vaccinating the dogs have been proven to be more effective to prevent the spread of the disease.
Stop KILLING! Start vaccinating. Educate yourself and choose the safest option.

So much easier to kill isn’t it? Sadly.
And yes, education and awareness would help.
But I have found a correlation between lack of education and poverty.
“Governments do want to rule by fear and ignorance! and purposely “block” access to education.
The percentage of people going to University in Latin America is around 20%
In Europe and the US, around 60%.
Going back to the dogs, let us hope local government will hear you (shout, scream!) and that vaccination will start.

I couldn’t agree more with your reply to Karen, “Education and awareness will eliminate fear and ignorance.”
