Sketch of the day in my Daler Rowney art Journal is of The Magical Humble plastic stool in Penang.
I don’t care who you are…
No matter i who sits on this plastic stool, you will be the same status as the next person. It doesnt matter if you are the head of state or the road sweeper. We will all be the same. It is humbling, this magical stool.

In Penang, when we eat, we all sit on the same chairs so everyone is at the same level which is why it’s so amazing. This humble chair

A very nice drawing and concept. In some houses in Latin America, in the country side, they used to have a special chair for when the farm hands would come into town to report on the farm’s status. Couldn’t have the farm people sit on the same chairs as the masters right? 😦
(Like your new heading too, though as you know I’m not too fond of monkeys)
