Sketch of the day in my Daler Rowney art journal is the local Malaysian Eagle King Brand which makes basic apparel.
I love to blog about local brands and the icons that they use. This one is of a flying eagle. You won’t find this anywhere else. It’s not like a designer or high street brand that has gone global.
Quote of the day: I wish I had wings

Well, the week is coming to an end. May you have a lovely week-end. I’m pleased – and proud – to say that I started writing “Breakfast in Istanbul” yesterday. The writing process always fills me with such joy (like your drawing does to you maybe). I don’t know how long it will be. I still have a couple of unresolved issues in the middle but the story is basically done. Just have to finish writing it. Bon week-end in Georgetown. 🙂

Just bought Courrier Sud by Saint-Ex on the quays. I’d lost it somewhere. ‘ts where he tells about his plane breakdown in the Sahara desert. A great book.
