Sketch of the day in my art journal is a flyer for my friends pop up bar. The Lotus Lounge at 92 Love lane, Penang. A last minute decision to chase away the Monday blues and to celebrate George Town Festival our own way!
We even managed to make some last minute merchandise for ourselves and guerilla marketing in less than 24 hours. I made the flyer in the early morning, printed it out and we stuck it in town. Cut out stencils for the t shirts which we bought at the local mydin store. All made in Penang with love. We also recruited a chef from Belgium who served up healthy chicken and veggie wraps and a few artists provide a creative vibe 🙂

The classic brand is called pagoda but it’s slightly more expensive than eagle king. Old men love to wear them because the brand has been around for more than 50 years. I think it’s really cool though 😆
