Sketch of the day in my Daler Rowney art journal is of a Pair of tablas that I saw last night from the festival of Taal. This is the first time I’ve really noticed them. It was an incredibly spiritual performance especially when more than 300 people played in a group. I was mesmerised by the music.

Very nice beat. As i write this having lunch in one of my favourite restaurants in mexico (pasta-fusilli with prawns) a guitar player on the street is playing a fairly good rendition of Santana. 😊😎🔨
