Sketch of the day in my Daler Rowney art journal is of a Water monitor Lizard who dropped by for a quick swim in the pool this morning.
There’s so much wildlife around me. It’s nice working in the garden! I’m sure you can tell by now that I love animals and I like to draw them so that more people will appreciate the beauty of creatures big and small xoxo

Glad you are aware. So many people cause harm to themselves as well as others because of fear. Yet here we all are on this spinning orb, each with purpose and place. Off to the ocean now, myself! Have a lovely day.

Yes I know all this. I’m a diver and I have encountered many sharks, not so dangerous ones I might add but I always have the Jaws theme song playing in my head. Funny you should mention that 😁

Yeah, thanks to Jaws, I think we all are! But you know, they live in the ocean and we can’t do without them. Many are now endangered. I just feel the ocean before I go in for a swim and then I don’t worry about it. If I meet one, so be it. I’ve swum with sharks before, and it was no big deal. But I did swim away from where they were – slowly! 🙂
