Today’s sketch of the day in my Daler Rowney art journal is of an Antique cast iron revolving rubber stamp holder from the set of British TV series Indian Summers.
My dad used to have this on his desk at the office and I loved spinning it around like a toy as a child. I would take all the rubber stamps off it, use them on a piece of paper which I bugged from his secretary and then put them all back one by one. Hours of fun before the age of internet!
I’m just quite old school myself π

No I don’t have that anymore. Shame but then I have a lot of other stuff which I still have to get rid of. Damn that reminds me…

Wonderful. it took me a while to understand what the “wheel” was until I understood the angle.
