Agreed. What made me leave Europe was the short days in winter. Not even the cold. One dresses accordingly. But the sun! Or lack of? you go to work in the morning it’s still night. And when you go home it’s dark already… Yuk.

I’m not complaining though. I would rather miss the seasons and go visit than endure subzero temperatures and short days 😆

True. Mexico is a bit similar, and some times I kinda wonder: “What month is this? February? Warm and sunny, and th trees don’t shed their leaves”. 😉
