Sketch of the day in my moleskine art journal are local Iced Gem biscuits which were originally made in England by Huntley and Palmers in the 19th century. It has since become a national treasure in Malaysia and Singapore.
They were made accidentally. The cookies shrunk and became little biscuits with colourful iced toppings.
The correct way to eat these gems are to peel off the coloured icing, eat them and discard the biscuit or put them back in the tin ;p
Have a colourful weekend! Xoxo

Sounds very nice. (I’ve even – briefly – looked at real estate prices in Penang the other day) š

For someone who claims to hardly eat at all, you do display quite a lot of treats.
Yummy!
