Today’s sketch of the in my moleskine art journal is a pen drawing of a tiger moth. Amata Trigonophora.
The moth is actually black and orange. I should have coloured it in but I ran out of time after drawing in all the details. I saw this little fella on my balcony in KL, Malaysia and it was following me around the place. I thought it was a wasp or bee. It was quite threatening and I never knew it was only a moth. Normally wasps and bees follow me not moths! According to wikipedia, this fella comes out in the daytime.
