Today’s sketch of the day in my moleskine art journal is of a red peony flower. Paeoniaceae Paeonia.
Peonies are one of my favourite flowers and it is featured a lot in Chinese and Peranakan textiles and porcelain as a symbol of good fortune, happy marriage and fertility.
Flowers are like friends. They bring colour to your world.
