One of my favourite places in London is Hampstead Heath. I love going to the duck pond, sitting on the park bench and watching the birds in the pond. I find it very peaceful.
Today’s sketch of the day in my moleskine art journal is from my visit to Hampstead Heath Duck Pond. I have drawn a Male mallard and an Eurasian coot. There were a few of them swimming there. I thought it was a bit cold to swim to be honest. Luckily for them they don’t seem to mind.

I love watching them, and either looking them up in my birding book then, or when I get home, then I remark on where and when I saw them. I only have books on S.A. birds, but can try google them for you. Thanks best wishes and blessings, Charles.
