One of my favourite places in London is Hampstead Heath. I love going to the duck pond, sitting on the park bench and watching the birds in the pond. I find it very peaceful.
Today’s sketch of the day in my moleskine art journal is from my visit to Hampstead Heath Duck Pond. I have drawn a Male mallard and an Eurasian coot. There were a few of them swimming there. I thought it was a bit cold to swim to be honest. Luckily for them they don’t seem to mind.

Breathtaking.
Can you tell me which colors are used here?

I cool. I love birds and watching them but I can’t call myself a birder. I never know what the birds are. At least now I know who to ask. 😃

Love this, am a birder, and went to the duck ponds in Verulam Park St.Albans and along the Ver river, to watch the bird life, and go to several places locally to do the same. Best wishes and blessings, Charles. 🙂
