I went to visit my mentor (www.floatingLemons.com) in the Cotswald in Oxfordshire. It was a beautiful sunny day. We sat in the garden and then we went to the local pub down the road where I discovered Aunt Sally.
So today’s sketch of the day in my moleskine art journal is Aunt Sally, a traditional British pub game popular in Oxfordshire and taken very seriously.

I wasn’t in Oxford. I was in a small village in The Cotswold in Oxfordshire and it’s not crowded at all 😆

I don’t remember ever hearing about it either. Oxford itself is beautiful but can get very crowded at times. I’m sure it was a great experience.

I’m not sure what it will be like in Oxford in July but I think it will be busy with summer students and tourists.

I was thinking of going to Oxford for the day. A few friends read there. But Oxford in July? Must be empty.
