Today’s sketch of the day in my moleskine art journal is of an antique miniature filigree clog used in Turkish hamams. I discovered them at an antique shop in Beysehir, Turkey. They are made of wood and a layer of silver sheet covers the top.
If the shoe fits, buy it ;p

Well I was a tad late this week, my dear Tiffany, in reading your lovely posts.
I guess you’ll be going home soon.
That generally produces the equivalent of a moral hangover after such a long and lovely time away.
From Chamonix to London and Istanbul and back.
‘t’s all right. You’ve filled your eyes with many wonders.
(Still working on the story in my head. It will take anything from a few weeks to a few months. I can never tell beforehand. I will send you the draft when it’s all written)
Take care.

Absolutely lovely. Did you buy one?
(Or will the drawing be enough for memory?)
