Today’s sketch of the day in my moleskine art journal are red poppy flowers I saw in a meadow in Turkey. The flowers were in full bloom and so beautiful. The meadow was alive with colours of red.

The wheat fields of my childhood were full of “coquelicots”. Now, with so much herbicides and pesticides and fertilizers, it has become rare to see “coquelicots” in the country side. Shame. Do check the song it is a very old one. And lovely.
Enjoy all your remaining minutes, seconds of London!
Be good
