Today’s sketch of the day in my moleskine art journal is of my DJ friend in Istanbul. I promised I would do a sketch of him and here it is. As I said before, I’m not great at people but I am trying to break out of my comfort zone. I guess I’m a bit apprehensive about drawing people because they may not like my drawing whereas inanimate objects, plants and animals will never object ;p

The stories I write tend to come to me. They sort of weave and spin on their own. Sometimes the entire story comes to mind. Sometimes it takes longer. And it helps if I kmow the place which in this case I don’t. For this story i also need a main character. Maybe aomeone called Tiffany. Breakfast in Istanbul? 😊
