Sketch of the day in my moleskine art journal is my favourite Turkish dessert, baklava. It is made with filo pastry and filled with chopped pistachios or walnuts and drizzled with honey. I’m eating my way through Istanbul looking for the best one.

Baklava of course I have!! It’s really tasty but look for the less sweet ones and they r perfect!

I haven’t had one yet. I’m not a big fan of them but there’s a syrian shop that sells them. I want to try that one. Supposedly less sweet.
