
Sketch of the day in my moleskine art journal is my favourite Turkish dessert, baklava. It is made with filo pastry and filled with chopped pistachios or walnuts and drizzled with honey. I’m eating my way through Istanbul looking for the best one.

That sounds lovely! I did try to modify my leftover baklavas as well. I used oranges and peaches on the bottom layer with limoncello. Reduced it. Covered it with baklava and havla. It actually tastes better with tangy fruits. Compliments the sweetness. I did it cos I had so much left over baklava! X
