Today’s sketch of the day in my moleskine art journal is a pair of red anchors from Istanbul’s ferry logo. This to me is an Iconic logo. I see it everytime I pass the bosphorous or when I take the ferry.
It is 2 anchors that form a heart in the centre. Simply beautiful. It symbolises how Istanbul has anchored my heart and it will happily stay there 🙂

The light is the best when the sun shines, it makes everything more beaitiful. The wind is chilly at the moment and gusty. I love the feel of istanbul. It’s so vibrant and full of life. I guess because it’s a city with a lot of young people.
