The work. A prayer: Wings of Love
Losing her mother last year, Tiffany recognized the struggle in coming to terms with her identity,
and relationship with the world without the mother/daughter dynamic. Her work is an exploration
of this concept.
She presents two paintings. One by her mother, and one in response to her mother’s work. The two
paintings present an almost telepathic and spiritual conversation of a bond between mother and
child. The art embodies the emotions and feelings of the artist. She expresses her secret desire to
travel to heaven to communicate her feelings to her beloved mother, transcending physical space
and time.
This is the internal dialogue between them.

Artist Profile
Tiffany Choong grew up in Penang, London and spent time in France. Her wanderlust nature began
at an early age as her mother was in the travel industry, and her exposure and introduction to art
was part and parcel of that free spirit lifestyle. Her style reflects her quirky and curious personality.
The subject matter is drawn from her love for nature and her surroundings.
For Tiffany, her art is a snapshot which captures a temporal moment of her life, her thoughts, her
experiences and emotions. She paints and draws what she feels in her heart. She keeps an art
journal which can be seen on her website.
Her personal journey as an artist has been a spiritual one and has been a journey of self discovery.
Her art has become her companion and her religion.
