I guess it made you responsible to look after a pet. I only had goldfish and terrapins which kept on dying on me which was terrible. I will never keep pets again

🙂 I was 9 or 10. It was the summer in our house in Normandy. My father built a vooden crate for the rabbit, with a mesh for air. I fed him carrots, lettuce. Made sure to change the straw bedding everyday. (Rabbit p..s smells terrible) Let it out from time to time in the garden to munch fresh grass. ‘was nice! 🙂
